Tamanduation follows the story of Anthony, a party-loving eating machine who gets involved in a revenge plot planned by Antagonilda, an exiled ant. She convinces him to attack her former colonies, offering a feast of ants along the way. For Anthony, it’s the perfect opportunity to turn this quest into a full-blown Ant-Feastival.
Antagonilda’s revenge sends Anthony through several biomes, starting in the tropical ant nest and spreading to regions like the vast, scorching savanna, the serene grasslands, and even a dense rainforest. Always hungry and eager for a party, Anthony must journey through these diverse environments, partying and feasting all the way, while Antagonilda’s revenge intensifies.

Tamanduation is a arcade game with snake-like mechanics. You control Anthony’s tongue as it grows and speeds up with hunger, sliding through the anthill and eating ants. The game features unique artwork paired with a mix of folk, hip-hop, and electronic music, creating a fun and chaotic atmosphere.

My Contribution

This was my first game and was created entirely by me as an opportunity to explore and experiment Game Maker. I was responsible for every aspect — programming, design, and more.
This project means a lot to me, as it marks the beginning of my journey in game development.
